There are two levels of GAP Insurance
Mercedes Protection – Finance GAP
In the event of your vehicle being written off Mercedes Protection is designed to protect you against the very real risk of payment from your motor insurer being inadequate to clear the cost of your finance agreement. The Mercedes Protection will pay the difference up to a limit of £10,000 – leaving you free of any outstanding liability.
Mercedes Protection Plus – Invoice GAP
In the event of your vehicle being written off Mercedes Protection Plus offers you remarkable protection against loss due to depreciation. It provides the difference between the invoice price or the early settlement amount (if greater) and the amount you receive from your motor insurance payment or the market value (whichever is greater), up to a maximum of £25,000.
Cover is available for light commercial vehicles up to 4 tonnes.
